Extra football sessions on top of your child's training commitments

Our Academy nights are extra football sessions on top of the training commitments at their current club.

These sessions will be tailored, following a specific curriculum plan to ensure all areas are being covered to ensure maximal progression and learning. We follow a 3-week syllabus progressing a certain area and then on week 4 we have a small-sided game (SSG) night to ensure all coaching points are being put into practise and that we have seen a progression from week 1

SSG night may also be ran by current professional footballers who play football in the women’s super league and championship! Every session will be specific to the players ages and abilities. The areas we will focus on whilst aligning with the Girlz2Goalz values and philosophy are:

Every session will have purpose on developing each player to achieve their maximal potential whilst having fun.

Maximal, purposeful touches on the football’s is crucial here at Girlz2Goalz to ensure every player is progressing, therefore we start sessions with ball manipulation and mastery to ensure we are progressing and challenging the players technical ability from the start, firstly unopposed (technical) and then opposed (skill). Every session will finish with a small, sided game (SSG) to ensure coaching points throughout the session can be implemented into a game scenario and we can see progression technically and tactically.
